A Simple Kind of Beautiful

Filtered through Vivia Tan‘s creative mind-set, and refined through the unforgiving eye of the camera, the simple kind of beautiful can’t help but deepen and materialize within Francielle P. Machado’s easeful series of portraits that are either soaked in faded colours, or drained of any sign of hue, replete with light, or grazed in soft shadows.
Caught in motion, sensible and revealing, the photo shoot may come across as unceremonious, but it grows wonderfully into subtlety. Glossy hair cascading in soft curls, complemented with sculpted cheeks and dreamy eyes by Sylvia Mkp, round off the effortless take on natural beauty.
